Everyone got a survival kit today-one water bottle, three hankies, chopsticks or a fork depending on taste, a solid graphite pencil that will last for years, a to-g0 container, and a zip lock baggie entitled "Bring it on home (for trash)"
Today was quite crazy in the house. There was wrapped trash everywhere, no food in the house, and everyone was scared to buy anything in case of making trash. This project ideally links my art making life with my home life, melding life and art. At the moment, I am simply adding stress to my household. I think we can get into the rhythm of the project, but focusing both on installing the work for other artist for Collected (this is part of my job as an OPENSOURCE member) and installing my own work has not allowed me to get the garbage system running smoothly at home.
